Houston-Downtown-Canon PowerShot SD 700 IS-Video Test This is a video clip that I shot while driving by using Canon PowerShot SD 700 IS. The original file is pretty good with sharp and smooth video quality. I could also zoom in and zoom out during video taking. The only thing that I am not totally happy is its sound recording quality. But it's still far better than old point-and-shoot digital cameras because you cannot hear the obvious noise caused by zoom-in and zoom-out, which was normally made by the old digital cameras. The camera handled the automatic exposure very well in different lighting situation. I could control the camera mostly with my right hand while driving without any problems
Warning: please don't try to learn from me to take video or still pictures while driving the car! I normally did not do so until I felt confident that I was able to control both the car and the camera. It shows more risky than making cellular phone calls
during driving because you have to use your eyes for two different things in the same time.
Due to YouTube's limitation to 100MB in file size, I have compressed the original file from 0.99GB to 60.7MB. So you will have no chance to view the real video quality.
