Seymour Hersch has an investigation written up in The New Yorker explaining how the concept of Iran Contra has returned to the US government and we are now funding groups which actually oppose us. Also giving fund include Saudi Prince Bandar Bush and others in Saudi Arabia. These funds are being collected and spent without Congress' knowledge. This has memories of Iran Contra in which the US collected funds from selling arms to Iran and secretly funneled those dollars to the Nicaraguan Contras which was all done without Congress' knowledge. So if the US President can do things in secret without the knowledge or oversight of Congress then tell me how we have a Democracy and tell me why we do not have a King/Dictator living in the White House?
