They usually have a seat for the driver and at least one passenger. Some are also able to carry many passengers. For example, buses and family station wagons carry from 8 to 69 people. In order for a car to move, it must be filled with a fuel, most often gasoline, which is also called petrol. Some other cars must be filled with diesel; others use natural gas or electricity.

This is a Honda NSX, a fast car from Japan, made of aluminium and coloured red.In recent years, new lightweight ideas for cars have been developed to make up for the weight increase due to comfort and safety issues. These changes will take years because of use of light weight materials help to meet economical and environmental requirements as well as demands for enhanced driving comfort. New alloys have been developed for the increasing demands in higher strength and better formability for lightness and withstanding a crash.

[change] Advantages
The car is the most common way of getting around in many countries, it is fast, efficient and easy to use.
[change] Disadvantages
A car can cause accidents, traffic jams, and heavy pollution on populated cities. The best way of moving around in those places are the public transports, such buses, taxis, hybrid cars, and trains. Another good way to move around is to carpool with someone else that you know.Formula One, abbreviated to F1, is the highest class of open wheeled auto racing defined by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), motor sport's world governing body. The "formula" in the name is a set of rules which all participants and cars must meet. The F1 world championship season consists of a series of races, known as Grands Prix, held usually on purpose-built circuits, and in a few cases on closed city streets. The results of each race are combined to determine two annual World Championships, one for drivers and one for constructors.
The cars race at high speeds, greater than 320 km/h (200 mph), and are capable of pulling up to 5g in some corners. The performance of the cars is highly dependent on electronics, aerodynamics, suspension and tyres. The formula has seen many evolutions and changes through the history of the sport.
Europe is Formula One's traditional centre and remains its leading market. However, its scope has expanded significantly in recent years and Grands Prix are now held all over the world. Events in Europe and the Americas have been dropped in favour of new ones in Bahrain, China, Malaysia and Turkey, with Singapore scheduled to hold the first night race in 2008 and India being added to the schedule starting in 2010. Of the eighteen races in 2008, nine are outside Europe.
It is a massive television event, with millions of people watching each race in two hundred countries. As the world's most expensive sport, its economic effect is significant, and its financial and political battles are widely observed. Its high profile and popularity makes it an obvious merchandising environment, which leads to very high investments from sponsors, translating into extremely high budgets for the constructor teams. Since the last decade, several teams have gone bankrupt or been bought out by other companies.
The sport is regulated by the FIA. Formula One's commercial rights are vested in the Formula One Group.
