Spock versus Libertarian - Spock wins Hey Ron Paul retards! Read this and have a laugh at your own expense.
A doctor who gets tons of support on the internet, but who turns out to be a little too loony to actually get nominated.
But enough about Howard Dean.
Here's a little diatribe for you. Yes, you!
Libertarianism is a naive and inhumane philosophy that works only in fairy tales and make believe - it does not work anywhere in the real world.
They hold many terrible principles that sound good in theory, but fall over in practice.
Like the individual's right to do whatever they want, so long as they don't infringe on anyone else's rights.
Libertarians think that as an adult you have the right to take whatever drugs you want. So they want to legalize all drugs, including narcotics. So in their world, cocaine, heroin, crack, meth, everything would be legal.
They also want everyone to have the right to bear arms - if someone wants to buy an Uzi and carry it around, they can.
Not sure you'd feel safe in that sort of society? Then buy yourself a rocket launcher and carry that around instead.
Libertarians would get rid of all public hospitals. They would all be private. If someone doesn't have enough money to go to a private hospital, then they have the freedom to not go, the freedom to stay sick, and the freedom to die.
Libertarians are against compulsory education - they think that kids should not be forced to go to school. If they want to go to work instead, they can.
So children would have the freedom to not go to school, and the freedom to work in a factory instead. Sweatshops would be perfectly legal.
Oh, and by the way, if you want to have fun with a Libertarian, ask them why child prostitution is illegal. It's fun to watch them justify government regulations.
It's even more fun to watch them as they nervously defend the child's individual right to earn a living through prostitution.
Libertarians also believe in abolishing the income tax, which is great for millionaires with high incomes, not so great for everyone else.
They want to give rights to corporate entities, and the freedom to conduct business without accountability through those pesky government regulations, like worker's safety, product safety, or consumer protection.
That means no overtime, too.
So in Libertopia ,you'd have crack whores that are uneducated, sick, and armed to the teeth. And it would be perfectly legal. Sounds great!
Oh, and here's something for you Ron Paul retards who keep crapping on about how Ron Paul defends the Constitution:
"The notion of a rigid separation between church and state has no basis in either the text of the Constitution or the writings of our Founding Fathers."
- Ron Paul, making it clear that no Founding Father ever wrote anything about a separation between church and state.
"Strongly guarded . . . is the separation between religion and government in the Constitution of the United States"
- James Madison, Founding Father and the principal drafter of the United States Bill of Rights.
I guess Ron Paul missed that one.
"I've introduced legislation that would amend the Constitution and end automatic birthright citizenship."
Wow, I guess someone thinks the Constitution shouldn't be followed the way it is now. Unlike Ron Paul, who's a strict Constitutionalist. Oh, wait, he said that.
"...the secularists wage an ongoing war against religion, chipping away bit by bit at our nation's Christian heritage. Christmas itself may soon be a casualty of that war."
Bill O'Reilly and his fake War on Christmas! Oops, that was Ron Paul too. My bad.
