Fairground Attraction Waltzer - Asa Taylor- Grangemouth
Since 2005 I have visited Kirkcaldy and seen this Waltzer at Scotland's biggest fair drawing in the masses with its fantastic atmosphere and live mixed music of acid house, hardstyle, hardcore and old skool. Grangemouth was the first time I have seen Asa Taylor's Fairground Attraction away from it's biggest fair and I must say I'm still well impressed with this machine. Dispite the fact I have filmed it 3 years in a row at Kirkcaldy I can never tire of seeing this ride. Dispite being on a smaller ground and less speakers (it was sill impressivly loud!) Asa Taylor still gets the riders and spectators into the machine in impressive numbers. This video took quite somw time to do taking around 5 - 7 hours to do. Because of its length there is still some shakey camera work in there but I have not ruled out doing a shorter, slicker version of the Fairground Attraction in Grangemouth. The video uses upto 5 video tracks (3 for video footage, 2 for subtitles) in places which has allowed me to expeirement at transparancy effects and speed changes which is something I might look into more for shorter, catchy videos. Finally I must say thanks to Asa Taylor for the warm welcome and getting the atmosphere which made the ride a joy to film. Finally thanks to my good friend Niall for a fantastic weekend I think you made the trip much better than the complicated Isle of Man trip we had been planning.
