The University of Queensland (UQ) Health Care Team Challenge The University of Queensland (UQ) Health Care Team Challenge (HCTC) is a student learning activity that culminates in a public competition between interprofessional student health teams with representatives from Audiology, Dentistry, Exercise Physiology, Medicine, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Speech Pathology. The student teams are presented with a patient with complex needs and are required to work together in order to present a management plan to an audience of local practitioners, interstate university representatives, academic staff, registry boards and students. The inaugural event was held in 2007. These are the reflections and experiences of some of its 2007 student competitors.
